A person alongside you when the language gets difficult.

I offer language and communication support for people living or working in Germany, particularly those moving between Japan and Germany. That can mean preparing for an appointment, going through correspondence, helping you put your questions into words or interpreting a conversation with an organisation.

Completed work includes supporting Japanese residents through residence-permit appointments and apartment handovers. Preparation matters: I want to know what you need to achieve and which documents or earlier exchanges affect the appointment.

You can contact me in English, Japanese, German or French. For suitable assignments I work with PANSOME, adding local Japanese-German support. We agree the person attending, the location, the time and the fee for each booking.

Where the issue needs a lawyer, tax adviser or another regulated professional, I can support the communication with them. That is a different job from providing their advice.

I work mainly in Düsseldorf and the surrounding area, with other locations by agreement. Individuals, employers and relocation firms are welcome to enquire. The quote covers preparation, appointment time and travel, and explains what happens if the appointment runs over. We confirm availability and who will attend for each booking.

The quote identifies any travel, event admission and partner costs, along with any applicable taxes. I start the agreed work once we've settled the brief and you've paid the 50% advance. We'll agree any additional work separately. Prices are in euros.
